The role requires skills in third party engagement and leadership to ensure timely response from Shell Engineering on Verification activities as well as timely verification from EPCs and IVB. -Provide support for verification activities working closely with the Quality Leads, EPCs, IVB and Shell TAs to ensure integration and timely delivery of verification. Lead delivery of verification via Polarion (Verification Tool) for all scopes and be custodian of Polarion in the project. (Wells, Subsea, Brownfield and Greenfield) - Verification focal point with IVB. Support engineering MoCs as required. Ensure Performance standards updates and verification by EPC and IVB Be able to work in a team environment and handle multiple project responsibilities. - Capture and apply internal and external learnings, ensuring that future projects are able to learn from the Bonga North. Support and champion continuous improvement initiatives. Promote the application of new technologies, digitalisation and design/implementation methodologies. -Participate in technical audits and reviews as required. Ensure control of scope and budget of IVB (As defined by the Excellence & Assurance Lead) Role requires weekly reporting of progress to stakeholders as well as monthly reporting. Items include IVB progress and internal DEM1, SECE verification progress

Job Specification
Job Qualifications:
Demonstrable experience in the Oil & Gas industry, specifically on Verification Eng at a Principal Engineer level.
A thorough understanding of technologies and practices as they relate to oil and gas production facilities.
Familiar with Shell DEM1 and DEM2 requirements
Fluent in English, written and spoken
Excellent interpersonal and facilitation skills
Strong personal commitment to HSE and D&I
Minimum Bachelors Degree in a relevant Engineering discipline or equivalent.
Experience with Operations support, Oil & Gas projects and subsea field development.
COREN & NSE Registered or equivalent, or working towards statuslifications
